Sunday Service

As of Sunday 30 August 2020, we are meeting on-site and online. Protocols are in place to ensure our meeting is CovidSafe.

Currently the activities in our service are limited to be CovidSafe. For now, there is no congregational singing. Morning tea is at the end of the service.

Kids talk

At Hope at the Hill, we have one service at 10:00 am each week and people of all ages and backgrounds are very welcome to join us.

We aim for a relaxed and informal atmosphere as we worship God. The service includes singing both traditional hymns and contemporary songs; prayer; a talk based on a passage from the Bible; announcements; a children’s talk, and a children’s song … in which the whole congregation chimes in!

Children are included in the first half of the service, and then they move on to ‘Kid’s Church’ (ie Sunday School), during the second half.

We also have morning tea in the middle of our service so that people can get together and enjoy one another.

Sometimes we have guest speakers, who might give a presentation about their particular ministry, or they might present the sermon … or we might just interview them.

Giving: Please note that we do not have a ‘collection’ during service.

Our Aim: To be a welcoming, Bible-based, and Christ-centred church; so please feel free to come along and check us out.
